Dream Architecture

Masonite with paper cladding and adhesive. Composed of 8 blocks each between 5" and 20" in any given dimension.

This modular sculpture piece is inspired by the logic and architecture of dreams, where familiar places are taken apart and put back together into unfamiliar forms. Everythign you see in your dreams is something you've seen in your life, just often altered so much that it seems new. This piece was a collaboration with Esme Bonilla.
